Session 2
Fundamental Aspects of Truth
Here we will provide the groundwork for further insights into how we can strive to understand our Higher Self. We will begin by defining in detail, the qualities and attributes of Brahman (Supreme Consciousness), Atma (Soul), and Prakriti (Material Nature).
We will also cover the underlying factors that cause the separation between Brahman and the Atma, leading us to be in ignorance of our True Self.
Session 3
Eternal Law of Karma
Many of us misunderstand karma and how it impacts our lives. Karma not only affects how we view the world currently, but also the types of experiences we will have in the future. By understanding the law of Karma we can better deal with the ups and downs that life inevitably brings.
In the third session, we will learn the philosophy behind the law of Karma and how it is responsible for binding us to the material world and making us forget our true nature.
Session 4
Finding Purpose in our Life
In the final session, we cover the various Yoga techniques given in the Bhagavad Gītā to help us find clarity and purpose in our duty. We uncover the cause of our confusion and how we can overcome it through the practice of Yoga.
We will also learn specific meditations practices that can be practiced on a daily basis which are designed to ground us and allow us to internalize the teachings given in the Bhagavad Gītā.

About Your Teacher
Swami Chidananda has spent the latter part of his life as a monk, studying the philosophical traditions of India and gaining deep insights into their hidden meaning and timeless practices under the guidance of Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda.
Before taking initiation as a monk, he was a successful investment banker and entrepreneur. Since then, philosophical teachings contained within ancient scriptures such as the Bhagavad Gītā have had a significant impact on how he views the world and have changed the way he approaches life.
Now, Swami Chidananda uses his experience as a former investment banker and entrepreneur to easily articulate the philosophical teachings of India in a meaningful way for those looking to bridge the gap between western and eastern philosophies.
“It was a delight to learn about the spiritual teachings from Swami over zoom. Each week lay the foundation for the next week’s lesson and discussion that made learning flow really well.
Swami described the concept Sanātana Dharma ''the Eternal way'', as a way of life not based on any one religion but a set of practices, rituals and philosophies that can be applied to all aspects of our lives to help us understand our true nature. These philosophies are linked by shared Vedic concepts, rituals, cosmology, shared textual resources, and pilgrimage to sacred sites.
I really enjoyed Swami's insights and knowledge, and his gentle teaching style.”
